Hosting and server log files

This website is operated by an external hosting provider with whom we have concluded a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Every time a page is called up, the host automatically collects information transmitted by your browser and stores it in what are known as server log files:

• browser type and version
• operating system used
• referrer URL
• hostname of the accessing device
• time of the server request
• IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources and serves solely to keep the website running securely and free of technical faults. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in providing the site reliably.

Contact form and enquiries

When you send us an enquiry through the contact form, we process the details you provide: name, email address, preferred date, occasion, your message and any package or service selection you made. We use this information solely to answer your enquiry and to prepare a quote.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). The enquiry is stored in our database and additionally forwarded to us by email. No profiling takes place and your data is never passed on for advertising purposes.

Processors and transfers to third countries

We use an email service provider to deliver the notification emails; it processes the data you entered in the form on our behalf and on our instructions. This may involve a transfer to the USA, which takes place on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

Cookies

No cookies are set for analytics, tracking or advertising purposes on the public pages of this website. We embed neither web analytics services nor social media plugins. A single technically necessary cookie is set in the non-public administration area only, to keep an authenticated session alive. Visiting the public pages therefore requires no consent.

Fonts, images and external content

The fonts used are served locally from our own server; loading the page establishes no connection to third-party servers such as Google Fonts. All photographs and videos are likewise delivered from our own server. Your IP address is therefore not transmitted to any third-party provider.

SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser's address bar switching from “http://” to “https://”. When encryption is active, the data you send us cannot be read by third parties.

Retention periods

Server log files are stored only for as long as is necessary to operate the website securely, and are deleted afterwards. Enquiries submitted through the contact form are kept for as long as they are needed to handle your request and any resulting booking. We then delete them, unless statutory retention obligations — in particular commercial and tax law periods of up to ten years — require otherwise.

Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data at any time:

• access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR)
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
• withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)

Right to lodge a complaint

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

Changes to this privacy policy

We update this privacy policy whenever data processing on this website changes — for example because new features are added or the legal situation changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
